PARADA DABAWENYO | ARAW NG DABAW 2023

DAVAO CITY, Davao 

The City Government of Davao held this year’s Parada Dabawenyo, the culminating activity of the month-long celebration of Araw ng Dabaw 2023, March 18 at the San Pedro Square.

The Parada Dabawenyo is back face-to-face for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic hit in 2020.

The civic military parade was participated by more than 250 government and non-government organizations, public and private educational institutions, and other industries.

Present during the Parada Dabawenyo were Vice President Inday Sara Duterte, First Congressional District Cong. Paolo Duterte, Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte and other national and local government officials.

At 3:00 AM today, the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) is forecasted at 340 km Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (320 km East Southeast of Davao City).

PAGASA has issued a 𝗬𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 in Davao City. Light to moderate rainshowers are being experienced in the different areas within the city. With this, increase in water levels in the different river channels, possible landslides, and floodings are expected throughout the occurrence. 

DEPED has further instructed Davao City Schools to coordinate with their respective Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs) for the cancellation/suspension of classes.

The general public is likewise advised to take precautionary measures and regularly monitor public advisories.

RELIEF OPERATIONS SA MAINIT NABUNTURAN

Nagpadayon ang atong relief operations sa mga barangay nga gikonsiderang hardest hit sa linog kagahapong adlawa, March 13, 2023. Ang Mainit, Nabunturan, Davao de Oro na sad ang atong gibisita.

Nagpabiling lig-on ang katawhan sa Mainit bisan pa man sa hagit nga ilang giatubang in the past few days and weeks. Klaro ang mensahe nga atong gipadala diha kanila -- kining tanang pagsulay, lumalabay lamang kini. Padayon lang mahimong kalmado, alerto, ug sa kanunay magsalig sa Ginoo.
